[Part 2] Experience with best ways to increase work productivity - Quick Thinking

In part 1, I introduced my experience with the Pomodoro Technique - a method that helps you to manage time effectively. In this article, I want to share my experience with Quick Thinking. It helps me a lot to concentrate in 25 minutes when I use Pomodoro Technique.
“He/she is so amazing”. Sometimes, in a meeting or just in a daily talk, we are impressed with people who can show their Quick Thinking up wonderfully. That state I was in. But, I have good news for you. Quick Thinking is a practical skill. Also, you are busy, there are many training methods which would be suitable for you.

Essentially, I think we need to understand clearly the definition of “Quick Thinker”. A Quick Thinker is a person who works efficiently and responds quickly. Besides high learning potential, they also have a good memory and a mind that works fast. “Oh, no! I don’t own that skills.” Don’t worry about it. I was you because I said myself like that. The thing you need to do is believe in yourself and act now. There are always paths for a person who wants to prompt their first steps and walk further. So, it’s time to catch it up now!
Firstly, challenge yourself with new things. We prefer a routine life to a daring life. In the truth, we seem to fall down into the stereotype in routine life. We form a fixed general idea or image of them so that it is assumed that we will behave in a particular way. To think more quickly, let’s be conscious of challenges with new things as the first step! The definition of “new things” is so simple. Trying a new cooking recipe, taking a cold shower instead of a hot shower, and meeting more new people. A big change is created just from those small things. Be willing to try new things day by day, you can feel the freshness and the connection to this world. Also, your ideas are more opened and your knowledge is expanded.
Secondly, make decisions quickly. We need to make a decision during choices in daily life. A Quick Thinker takes their decisions quickly from tiny things like waking up soon after the alarm clock rings or continuing sleep, taking a white or a pink dress before stepping out. Therefore, they start faster. When we get the ability to make decisions, we are no longer to be puzzled. Let’s make it become a habit in your life. But, I should say that: speed is not the most important item, store up knowledge day by day to make a standard level for yourself. Based on it, make decisions. That’s more important.
Thirdly, brain training by playing games. Research showed that we make good decisions when the brain is relaxed than focusing on the problem. Of course, there are many ways to take a rest. A refresh method can apply even if you are busy working on is game application. Using a hand finger in defeating games stimulates brain activation. During playing, the brain only focuses to find out a way to clear the hardness of the game without neglecting or thinking about needless things. When choosing a game for relaxation, you should consider easy games like puzzles or finding differences than complicated ones. I do recommend brain training and stress relief games.
Additionally, for everything you do, always remind yourself about input and output. What do you need to solve the task? Which results do you have to get? Rearrange, and reorder your brain by classifying important/unimportant things. You can write down all you want as a diary or a blog to do classification well.

I don’t remember how long I really became a Quick Thinker but it is a long and challenging time, honestly. In spite of that, I am pleased with myself. I hope my sharing can make you more powerful. Only a very very little, I do feel happy.
